Triad Group was founded in 1984 and has been serving clients for over thirty years. We are a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and are specialized in providing workers’ compensation risk management in New York state.
Headquartered in Troy, New York, Triad has additional offices in New York state located in Syracuse, Armonk and Uniondale.
Our Management Team
Victoria Manes, President
Ms. Manes is the Owner and President of Triad Group. She has led Triad through significant growth over the past 20 years and has managed the development of new client relationships, vendor partnerships and adjacent business lines. Ms. Manes is also an attorney with over 30 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation Law. She is a frequent Continuing Education speaker, presenting seminars on Workers’ Compensation, Volunteer Firefighter Benefit Law and General Municipal Law 207C and 207A. Ms. Manes has represented employers and insurance carriers and has established legal precedents regarding the limits of coverage and jurisdiction under the New York Workers’ Compensation Law, as well as the Longshoremen and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. She has also served as Village Prosecutor and Village Justice in Westchester County, New York. Ms. Manes graduated from St. John’s School of Law with a Juris Doctor and is admitted to practice in all New York Courts as well as the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts and the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal.
Marie Cuomo, Chief Director
Ms. Cuomo is the Chief Executive Director of the Triad Group. She has developed and grown Triad’s combined services to be an industry leader in Workers Compensation and General Municipal Law by implementing aggressive yet protective return to work programs and 207 A-C contract administration. Ms. Cuomo is responsible for executive oversight of all aspects of the Triad Group services, including claim administration, nursing, medical review, return to work programs, 207 A-C Collective Bargaining Agreements, involuntary disability application processes, and cost saving programs. Ms. Cuomo routinely participates in client procedural, strategic and goal planning initiatives and maintains client and vendor relationships. Prior to joining Triad, Ms. Cuomo held multiple management positions with Kaiser Permanente and the Crawford Company. Ms. Cuomo is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of medical experience as a Certified Case Manager and Geriatric Case Manager ranging from Emergency and Intensive care to Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Ms. Cuomo is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle with a B.S. in Nursing.
